A 3D render I was trying to get to look more "illustrated" and less 3Dish looking. Experimenting at least.
The final illo will have figures in the foreground that will obscure the majority of the bg though, which is why I didn't bother with flames coming off the torches.

Very nice! Did you favor procedural or image textures in this piece? If procedural did you use Cinema's built in features or something like Substances?
