I had an idea for a color varient for this illo [link] and decided to see how it would come out. I deliberately used some bright, luminescent, saturated colors that only a computer monitor would display (though it's probably gotten desaturated already by the interwebs conversion here).

I am really looking forward to the age of digital paper. I'm sure it will pose it's own problems with color accuracy, but they should in theory, be less than that of a hardcopy print. Humidity in the air, the type of ink, and the type of paper can vary results dramatically. Hell, having a different press operator of the same press can actually cause a color shift. The amount of variables in the quality of a print job is really staggering.

Though the internet likes to screw with the colors too for some reason which I can't quite figure out why yet.
