I don't know why, but when I upload a color image it always desaturates by like 25%. The colors are generally more vibrant than what ends up getting displayed for some reason...(eergh!)
Update 1: Okay I might have found out the saturation problem. After going under "Save for Web" in PS, there's a triangle to the UPPER LEFT of the save button, clicking on that will bring down a submenu that has an option called "Use Document color profile". It looks right in the preview, so I'll post another update if it worked or not.
Update 2: HaHa nope! Color saturation problem still exsists. Why do I feel like that muppet that would always say "Oh I'll never get it, never, never", then proceed to bash his felt skull on that piano he was trying to play
I can actually answer your question regarding the colors. It's the internet. For whatever reason, certain colors don't show up properly. They get displayed as the next closest color. It'll appear the correct way if you download it.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
